This webinar will discuss common emergencies in pet rabbits and how to triage and stabilise these cases. Emergency procedures such as blood transfusion, intraosseous catheter placement and nasogastric intubation in rabbits will be described as well as the various options for analgesia in pet rabbits. Novel analgesic regimes and continuous rate infusions will also be discussed. General supportive care and nursing requirements for hospitalised pet rabbits will also be covered. This is an excellent resource for veterinary personnel at all levels, providing a good grounding in the basics of rabbit emergency care as well as discussing more specialist techniques and recent advances in this field.
