About The Webinar

Dogs and cats with corneal lesions are commonly presented in general practice. This webinar will help the practitioner to distinguish simple corneal ulcers from corneal defects that present true ocular emergencies, such as deep stromal defects, perforations, corneal lacerations and corneal foreign bodies.

The management of these defects will be discussed to help prevent the deterioration to a deeper defect if possible. Medical and surgical treatment strategies of deep corneal defects, perforations, lacerations and foreign bodies will be explained, helping the veterinarian to decide when referral is appropriate to achieve the best outcome for the patients.
