About The Webinar

As progressively more patients are diagnosed with cancer, our clients are becoming more open to exploring what options are available to treat their companion. Many veterinary practices have responded to this specific demand in care and now more care-teams than ever are offering chemotherapy to these animals. Veterinary nurses are regularly involved in such treatments, often with the administrating and aftercare, but wouldn’t it be interesting to learn more about the treatment regime – what the drugs do, how they work and what determines what drug protocol is used?! This webinar aims to explain not only that, but also how some of the commonly used chemotherapy drugs exert their effect – on both cancer and normal cells of the body as well as what the veterinarians are looking for each time they see the patient back in the clinic.
