About The Webinar

Ferrets are carnivores, belong to the Mustelidae family and in many ways their veterinary care is similar to feline and canine care. There are however some key differences and this webinar will discuss these, including the important clinical anatomical features of ferrets and how to perform a clinical examination in pet ferrets, which can sometimes be challenging. Pet ferret preventative medicine, clinical techniques and their indications will also be discussed. By the end of this webinar you will have an understanding of the common pet ferret diseases, their diagnosis and treatment, giving you further confidence to instigate appropriate treatment plans for your pet ferret patients.
