About The Webinar

There many small zoos and farm-parks with zoo licences in the UK. Most do not have their own specialist vets on site and typically use the services of a local practice to provide veterinary care for a range of non-domestic species. Typically these collections contain small carnivores such as meerkats, coatis, skunks and racoons, small primates such as marmosets, tamarins and lemurs and wallabies. This webinar will cover the veterinary care of these common small zoo mammals, including husbandry considerations, nutrition, reproduction, restraint and anaesthesia, diagnostics, common conditions, treatment and preventative medicine.
