About The Webinar
Dogs and cats presenting with suspected spinal disease can be challenging and frustrating cases for veterinarians of all abilities. Constructing a list of differential diagnoses and a rational and appropriate diagnostic plan can be difficult in the pressurised environment of a busy consult. In this lecture we explore how adopting a problem-based clinical reasoning approach can improve the diagnosis and management of canine and feline spinal disease and understand how factors from the animal’s signalment and presenting clinical signs can aid in constructing a prioritized list of differential diagnoses. These principles will be reinforced using case studies and video discussions of common spinal conditions.
