About The Webinar

Chemotherapy is widely used in veterinary oncology and is an important anti-cancer treatment for various tumour types. However its use also comes at a cost. Chemotherapy drugs are toxic and can have important health implications for the vets and nurses involved in their handling and administration. They can also have important side effects in the dogs and cats treated. Correct handling and preparation of these drugs and management of side effects is important to minimize risks to vets and nurses and to maximize patient quality of life.
