About The Webinar

Wounds can be one of the most challenging cases we see, and it is often necessary to modify our plan at multiple points on our journey to wound healing. This 90-minute webinar will go through every aspect of wound management and reconstructive principles. From initial wound management to dressings, this lecture will explore ways to improve the outcome, speed up wound healing and decrease the cost for these challenging cases. Different types of wound healing will be discussed and which cases they will be appropriate for. There are many ways to close wounds from primary closure to advanced reconstructive techniques such as skin grafts and axial pattern flaps. It is also possible to allow many wounds to heal by second intension healing. Advantages of all techniques will be discussed in order to create the optimum outcome for your patients.
