About The Webinar

Patients may present to the Veterinary Practice with an unknown history of trauma. Often these injuries include fractures of bones that require repair. A universal method of description helps colleagues to discuss methods of repair, which as nurses often includes their post-operative management. This webinar will discuss the nomenclature that is used, the rules that govern how some type of fractures are repaired and the implants and instrumentation that are suitable. Although fracture repair is not in the direct remit of the veterinary nurse, a full understanding of what methods are used and how fractures are repaired definitely provides a far superior post-operative care plan for the patient. Increased knowledge is definitely an advantage!
