This webinar recaps the fundamental principles of articular fracture management, before exploring in detail the aeitiopathegenesis and management options of some common articular fractures that affect the pelvic limb of dogs and cats.
In the hip joint, acetabular fractures and femoral head fractures will be reviewed, in the stifle, we will discuss patellar fractures as well as those of the femoral and tibia condyles, and in the tarsus, we will cover fractures of the malleoli, talus, calcaneus and tarsal bones. We will present an evidence-based review of the treatment options and walk through decision making for these challenging cases.
