About The Webinar

'Leishmaniosis is a disease caused by the protozoan parasite (L. Infantum) which is endemic in southern Europe and other parts of the world. The disease is usually transmitted by the sand-fly, which is not present in the UK, but due to the importation of many infected dogs from mainland Europe, this and other 'exotic' diseases are now being identified much more frequently in the UK. In this webinar we will discuss how to recognise, diagnose and treat Leishmaniosis.'
