About The Webinar

This webinar is aimed at Veterinary Nurses in general practice who have an interest in learning about advanced techniques in anaesthesia. Adam will cover when to perform positive pressure ventilation (PPV), and how to do this safely, both manually using the reservoir bag and using a mechanical ventilator. Although further training in the use of mechanical ventilators is strongly recommended, the webinar will touch on the basics of how to get started. Side effects of PPV will also be discussed along with a brief introduction on the open lung technique. Hopefully the webinar will encourage you to expand your knowledge further in this interesting aspect of veterinary anaesthesia.
