About The Webinar

Ensuring adequate and appropriate analgesia is paramount for all exotic pet patients. This can be challenging, as there are many variables that should be taken into account. For example, variations in species-specific responses to pain and difficulties with pain assessment in these species, together with a lack of published information on drug therapeutic levels, efficacy and longevity in exotic pet animals. This webinar will provide an overview of analgesic agents commonly utilised in birds, reptiles and mammals and will consider individual case scenarios, with discussion as to the most appropriate analgesic therapies applicable in each case.
