About The Webinar

The presentation will cover the reasons why monitoring is important, the primary goals, and basic and some more advanced methods of monitoring anaesthetised patients. Temperature, pulse, respiration, ECG, pulse oximetry, non-invasive and invasive blood pressure (oscillometric and Doppler), capnography and CVP will all be included. There will be some information on induction, intubation and recovery.

Perioperative care will be covered and there will be a section on analgesia – types and how to provide it. Some common abnormalities will be displayed with images from multiparameter monitors, such as cardiac arrhythmias, hyper and hypocapnia.
