Recurrent colic is a commonly encountered presentation in equine practice, and one which can cause distress for the horse, the client and sometimes the veterinary surgeon trying to reach a diagnosis! This webinar will review the mechanisms, causes and risk factors for recurrent abdominal pain in the horse. The diagnostic approach to such cases will be also be discussed, including a review of abdominal ultrasonography. Strategies for case management will be covered, including those with no specific diagnosis.
