About The Webinar

Suspected or witnessed poisoning is a relatively common presentation in small animals. In this webinar we will first briefly review the general approach to the poisoned patient and in particular to the patient with neuromuscular toxicity. Attendees will be updated on the potential use of intravenous lipid emulsion for some types of intoxication. We will then discuss some of the more classical (e.g. ethylene glycol, anticoagulant rodenticides) and some of the more recently identified (e.g. grapes, lilies, xylitol) small animal poisons. This webinar promises to be a whirlwind tour through small animal poisoning.
