About The Webinar
Abdominal radiography is widely used as part of the diagnostic investigation into dogs and cats suspected of having either primary abdominal disease or disease elsewhere within the body that may potentially involve the abdomen. Accurate evaluation of abdominal radiographs can be challenging, as the majority of abdominal organs are of soft tissue opacity which, when superimposed on an abdominal radiograph, can be difficult to distinguish from each other. Consistent interpretation of abdominal radiographs requires a logical approach, as well as a good knowledge of normal radiographic anatomy, enabling the radiologist to recognise the presence and location of any abnormalities. In this webinar, Esther Barrett reviews the radiographic appearance of the normal small animal abdomen and helps you to evaluate radiographic abnormalities commonly encountered in abdominal disease.
