About The Webinar
Diseases of the liver are commonly encountered in dogs and cats in primary care practice, but their diagnosis can be frustrating. In addition, many animals have elevated liver enzymes on routine clinical pathology, but their significance can be difficult to determine. When therefore should serum bile acids be assessed and is it necessary to measure them post prandially? It is also not uncommon to identify abnormalities when imaging the liver, so how useful is diagnostic imaging in the diagnosis of liver disease? And when and how should I perform a liver biopsy and must I always check coagulation first? This webinar will address these, and many other questions faced by practitioners when dealing with a dog or cat with suspected liver disease or liver related abnormality on routine testing.
