Simon graduated from the University of Cambridge and after two year in small animal practice under took a residency at the University of Bristol in Small Animal Medicine and Intensive Care.
He is a Diplomat of the European College of Veterinary Internal Medicine and a RCVS recognised specialist is Small Animal Internal Medicine.
Simon has lectured widely in the UK and abroad, and is the editor of the BSAVA companion magazine.
He is currently working as a consultant in internal medicine at Dick White Referrals, where he sees a very varied medical caseload and is head of the internship program.
Simon is Honorary Associate Professor of Small Animal Medicine at the University of Nottingham.
