Presenter: Tim Potter BVetMed PhD MRCVS

Tim graduated from the RVC in 2003 and went straight into a combined residency in dairy herd medicine and surgery with clinical training at the Royal Veterinary College and the Shepton Veterinary Group, Somerset. After completing his residency, Tim entered a DEFRA funded PhD programme at the RVC in which he examined new techniques for optimizing antimicrobial dosage regimes in the treatment of calf pneumonia. During his graduate programme Tim continued to advance his clinical expertise by working and teaching in the College’s Farm Animal Clinical Centre and by performing on farm disease investigations. Since receiving his PhD Tim has been working as a veterinary surgeon and consultant with the Westpoint Veterinary Group. He has a specific interest in youngstock health and the prudent use of medicines on farm.
