Domingo is a double diplomate in Veterinary Cardiology (RCVS) and Small Animal Internal Medicine (ECVIM). Domingo qualified in Zaragoza (Spain) and after an internship and several years in practice in the UK he joined the University of Bristol in 2006 as a resident where he carried out specialist training in Small Animal Internal Medicine first and Veterinary Cardiology afterwards. He then stayed in Bristol after completion of his training as a clinician and became later the Head of Cardiology and Respiratory Medicine until July 2016. He is currently the Head of Cardiology and Cardiopulmonary Service at Southfields Veterinary Specialists, Basildon, UK and a part-time lecturer in Cardiology and Respiratory Medicine at the Catholic University of Valencia (Spain). Domingo is an active clinical researcher and has published widely in cardiology and respiratory medicine. He is also a frequent reviewer of journals such as JVIM, JSAP or JFMS. He has written several book chapters and has also spoken widely at national and international conferences. Domingo´s main areas of interest include myocarditis, arrhythmias and interventional cardiology.
